Common Question About Airbrush Tan

COMMON QUESTIONS

HOW DO I BOOK A SPRAY TAN?
Visit the booking section on our website.

I HAVE AN EVENT. WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT?
The best time to get sprayed before any event is 1-2 days prior. Manicures, pedicures, and waxing should all be done prior to your spraytan.

HOW SOON AFTER MY SESSION CAN I WORK OUT?
Please rinse prior to working out. This will wash away any remaining bronzer, the cosmetic portion of your spray tan.

WILL I LOOK ORANGE AFTER I GET TANNED?
No, you will not appear orange. We use the highest quality solutions and would never recommend a color that would be unnatural on you.

HOW LONG WILL MY SPRAY TAN LAST?
The length of your tan depends on the maintenance afterwards. Most people notice their tan begin to fade after about 4-7 days. Moisturizing and staying hydrated is extemely important post spraytan. We carry products to help extend the life of your tan.

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT SPRAY TAN "COLOR" TO CHOOSE?
When you come in, we will help you decide on the best solution and color for you.

CAN I STILL TAN OUTSIDE?
Yes! The most important thing to remember is that the solution does not contain any UV protection/sunscreen. You will still be able to develop a tan naturally in the sun.

MY SKIN IS PEELING/SUNBURNED. CAN I STILL GET A SPRAY TAN?
If your skin is peeling, so will your spray tan and you will look blotchy.

WILL JACUIZZIES, POOLS, OR SAUNAS REMOVE MY TAN?
Yes, it will remove the majority of your tan and/or lightenin it. Salt water, chlorine, and hot tubs can accelerate the fading of the tan. I recommend wearing waterproof sunscreen to help create a barrier. Rinse skin immediately after to remove chlorine and salt.

WHAT DO I WEAR DURING MY TANNING SESSION?
Bra/underwear, swimwear, or nude. Whatever you are most comfortable with. Men must wear undergarments.

CAN I TAN IF I'M PREGNANT?
DHA is FDA approved and only penetrates the outermost layer of the skin. There is no evidence that DHA is harmful. However, we do recommend that you consult with your physician first.

CAN MY MINOR TAN?
Only with parent's consent.

I HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN. CAN I STILL TAN?
We recommend scheduling a patch test prior to coming in for a full tan.

I HAVE ECZEMA AND/OR PSORIASIS. CAN I STILL TAN?
Yes, but any rough patches of skin may grab more solution and look darker.

WILL SPRAY TANNING STAIN MY BED SHEETS, CLOTHES, AND/OR DRESS?
Our solutions should wash out of most fabrics.
